Two commentators and two languages: What is meant by “obedient” is obedient, worshipper, remembrancer, and silent, without the need for a statement of Kurdand; As for the qāt of Budan Zanān in verse 34 of Surat An-Nisā’, with the context of links between two spouses, it caused distress for the two interpreters to understand the denial of “obedient”; Bashd.
